We have the pleasure of inviting you to a parallel session organized by the Mountain Partnership Secretariat that will take place via zoom on Wednesday, 28 July at 13.30 CEST.

The session will focus on: 

• the role of mountains ecosystems and how to restore them for improving food availability to mountain populations
• how to recognize and promote indigenous and traditional knowledge as well as the role of women and youth in mountains
• how to make mountain value chains fair, equitable and sustainable, through targeted policies, governance, partnerships as well as innovation and technology
• how to strengthen the role of the Mountain Partnership as a multistakeholder  coalition of governments, civil society, international organizations and  private sector that contributes to provide solutions in mountain areas.
