On 11th October 2021 the University of Florence organized the 1st workshop of the international project EUniWell Advancing Understanding of Well-being Tourism, Drawing Upon the European Biocultural Heritage. The project is led by Linnaeus University (Sweden) and includes University of Florence (Italy), University of Nantes (France) and University of Birmingham (UK) as partners.
The event inaugurated a cycle of international workshops focused on tourism, policy, education and the valorization of biocultural heritage. The aim is to build a solid network of knowledge and competences within these fields, involving students, researchers, professors and operators. This will contribute to the introduction of a new concept of well-being tourism in partner regions and the identification of common research interests and educational needs.
